Hey, I’m Nathan
Born and raised in Northeastern Ohio, I found that a lot of my time growing up was spent in common places, doing fairly normal things, with the only people I knew. For the longest time, I didn’t realize that I needed to leave the place I called home to find a new perspective on life.
My mind is rooted in curiosity, and I thrive in fast paced situations. I’m a bit of a nomad, but crave a measurable amount of security, and stability. A hopeless romantic at heart, I found a true, and real passion with making images, specifically on analog film.
It’s been five years since I purchased my first camera, and over these transformative years, I’ve come to feel something so incredibly emotional every time I click the shutter button, that I couldn’t stay away even if I tried. I’ve been to a lot of places; from the rugged backcountry of Montana, to the fluid, elegant coasts of Oregon, and California, all the way back to the mysterious White Mountains of New Hampshire; I’ve been around. It seems that the only way I can remember these places are through photographs.
From the first time I made an image that depicted real, bursting, overflowing love, I knew that I needed to bring that emotion into my images, and create photographs that truly represent the two people in front of my lens. My work is a representation of everything I find inspiring, and hold closely to my heart.
I’m a elopement & wedding photographer, sure, but I’m also much more than that. I’m a simple guy who enjoys the small things in life. I don’t need much, but one things for sure, I’ll always need a camera.
